960 Games.

I have decided to create this thread
in order to try to incentive other lichess users
to play more this variant, which I believe It is awesome
It has more room for creativity and you always have a new game feeling, so here we can post some 960 games that we like
here is a game I just played
http://en.lichess.org/IHrALdSN#24
when I was playing this game I tried to castle on the queenside and I could not, somehow I thought that the king was gonna move to a1 and the rook to b1,
but It turns out that It is just the same than in normal chess
but I could not castle because my other rook was in d1
and then the black bishop was on d1 so the square was occupied
so here We can post some doubts or ideas regarding fischer random as well.
It is just normal chess for anyone who has not played it
with the only difference, You have to study much less which I think It is a plus, plus You always play new stuff so It does not get repetitive,
now in theory u would have to study more positions since there are more but in practice since the opponent is also at a loss in the opening, It is fresh air, so basically there is no theory and only game, sport, plus You see different set ups
of the board so It will rich your understanding, just for the beauty of the game.
Have fun and play more fischer chess instead a fraction of it, 1/960.
Click the king,
Click the rook,
that is how It is done,
the castling.
to clicks instead of a push, a holding piece.
click, click.
960 is a classic and great variation!

For castling, you don't need to click the king and rook, dragging works too.
I could not castle again, I feel stupid.
While this topic is here, I have a question about fischer random. Say at the start I have my king on b1 and my rook on a1. if there was a black bishop or knight on d1, could I capture the bishop/knight while castling. This capture does not break any rules of normal chess because I have not castled through check, nor have I castled out of check. Thank you for your time.
@DanDan2016: Yes, it does break this rule: "All squares between the king's initial and final squares (including the final square), and all squares between the rook's initial and final squares (including the final square), must be vacant except for the king and castling rook."
I see. I suppose that makes sense. Thank you for the clarification.
To add to the Assios comment, to clarify it, I think this rule
is common in both variants, chess and chess 960.

This is a nice game I just played
http://en.lichess.org/yOKbMI8t
I was not sure where to put the king but I decided to put
it in the middle and perhaps castle on the right side
but I had a tactical approach, a space approach
It seems to me from the very few games that I played
that chess 960, It is completely different, It has more of a sharp aura, like you get a more chaotic framework, so You really can not hide in comfortable positions, caro kann or petroff defence or london system, well maybe You can
but It has a tendency towards more of a dynamic outcome
more unbalanced assymetrical, perhaps more of a sicilian feeling but I do not play sicilian but It is different because people that play sicilian get used to the same positions
perhaps if I keep playing chess960 I get used to it but still
It has this assymetry that It gives the game a different feeling completely, now the pieces are simmetry colocated
but the initial strategy of each oponent is usually different
more unbalanced than in normal chess, so You get to
You are forced to think from the first move and It is a hard challengue actually because You have to figure out everything, It looks like a bigger game to me.
You start from scratch thats what I am saying.
It has a bongcloud feeling maybe, although I do not know that opening either.
