FM Mihailo Vujic

I am Mihailo Vujic, FIDE master from Serbia, 45 years old with one IM norm.My best Fide Elo is 2368.I graduated from the Faculty of Mathematics in Belgrade. And I worked for more than 10 years as a math teacher.And yet I love chess more than math!

I started playing chess at the age of 5.When I was 15 years old, I won the Junior Chess Championship of Yugoslavia in which future grandmasters like Ivan Ivanisevic and Dragan Solak participated. In 1995. I was youth vice champion of Serbia. And I played many open chess tournaments around Europe. My best wins are: against GM Pogorelov at the European Championship in Budva 2009, GM Dusan Rajkovic on Silver Lake open 2014,Misa Pap(2493 fide Elo), Robert Markus, Borko Lajthajm, Im Kizov, Im Kozhuharov,Im Andrijevic and others.

I've started giving online lessons in 2008.I've had students from the UK,Latvia, Belgium the US, India,South Africa,Malaysia the Arab countries, and, of course, Serbia.
I've worked at a chess school with school-aged children and I gave them lessons on the board.

As a math teacher in school I've gained pedagogical experience working with children.

I like to attack in chess and I am very good in endings. My favorite openings is Spanish gambit as black and Alapin as white. My student Dann took 7. place in Pan American youth chess festival under 10 blitz chess-results.com/tnr802180.aspx?lan=1&art=1&rd=9&turdet=YES&flag=30

I use in my chess lessons games of top players and my personal games. We work on combinations in midllegames. And ofcourse we work on endgames. I have lot of expirience of teaching as former math professor. So methodology and pedagogy is my good side.
