Classical

Have you ever played against someone, during a classical - 60 minutes -,that uses all his time without doing any move? Do you find this behavior correct?
Sometimes i think 2 or 3 minutes on a single move. 60 min for a move is a bit too much.
nope. he's a jerk. block him, report him. i can't believe you waited 60 m though, while some opponent sat on his butt not even pushing wood........
Mr.Williams , in the famous London 1851 tournament , was thinking 2-3 HOURS for every move , as there was no time limit....
Louis Paulsen , the 19th century legend , was so slow that Paul Morphy started to cry while he was waiting for him to move.
60 minutes is nothing !!! 😎🤣😍🤩
I have played a game, and I tried a scholars mate, bit just as I was about to take the pawn, they resigned.
With electronic clocks, we can have increment time controls.
So why not ... classical time per move?
If the move time window has expired, the game could then change from rated to casual.
Like getting an offer to draw, but instead you get an automated offer to change the rated game to a casual game.
If both accept then it happens. If the player that does not move, does not respond in a timely manner to the automated request , then a force a win offer is sent.

Like a chess CAPTCHA proving your human or still there.
A player can spend as much time on one move as he sees fit.
If you have no patience, then play increment and/or rapid.
When you play a 60 minute game (example), it means that you have to be prepared to play at least 60 minutes (if the opponent spends all his time no matter in one move or in fifty moves), or even if your opponent just staring the stars. Yeah I know it's annoying but you can't do anything.
If you not patient , then Classikal time format is not for you.
well its gotta sad if you don't have patient I know it feels sad or annoying but we'll it helps in lifetime right???????
Tell me what you think
