Learning from miniatures

Forum thread for miniatures.
Miniatures can be useful to learn tricks in the opening.
I'd like to share them with everyone here.

A few comments about the game would be nice, as only a web link without any introduction text is less attractive to click on.

Here's a miniature just played where my opponent sacrificed material, and then the queen was lost :

Here a "classic", the Owen's defense, with f7f5, leading to a quick checkmate. My opponent went for the "main line" self-mate option :
