lock my account for a week

Is it possible to have my account frozen for a week?
It would be really nice because I am playing to much blitz at the moment
Ehm. I can close your account and open it again in a week. But I can't promise I will remember to unclose it :)
A warning, closing an account clears the list of all the people you follow; you need to manually refollow them.

For unlocking use email contact@lichess.org
This is not a bad idea like in poker sometimes you can not stop yourself

freeze feature would be nice for one player

but in poker you lose money and time

here it is only time but it is good if you have problems with managing your time correctly
you could change your password to something you wont' be able to remember, write it down, and bury it
We don't provide this service. Get a friend of yours to change your password.
This issue can be treated with a humorous response or the serious problem it can be for some people. That is, internet and gaming addiction.
A few options I can think of.
Get an alternative life that is more attractive than playing online chess.
If you use a PC or a Mac there is software that can block sites and applications. Someone else will need to password it then unlock at appropriate times. That may be inconvenient if they don't reside with you.
If you have wireless, pick up the router (no, don't smash it against a wall (:) and give it to someone inside or outside the house or take it to work and put it in your drawer during week days. It depends to some extent if you play chess with a computer or smartphone.
If you have obsessive-compulsive personality traits, see a Psychologist or Psychiatrist if it is seriously impinging on your life. Perhaps Lichess should have a warning on the site something like this: WARNING. Chess can be addictive. If you feel compelled to play chess and it is impacting badly on your life such as loss of sleep, neglect of family and poor school or work performance, then seek professional help.
