invisible pieces

Hey guys, I can't see any pieces at all for a few days. Blindfold mode is not activatet and it's only happening in Google Chrome. Pls help.

Perhabs you should reset google chrome.

I had the same issues not even 20 minutes ago. I fixed it though.

If you're still having issues with this and you're using Chrome browser, click on Options -> Settings -> Advanced and RESET your chrome settings.

This will set the chrome settings back to default factory settings, remove cookies, clear cache data, remove extensions/addons, etc.

I only have this with certain userstyle themes. Did something change?

Yeah, I guess. the pieces are not loaded completely. Try to disable the userstyle , refresh the page and see it works.

I don't know if you guys use this addon but it was the culprit for me: uBlock Origin. I disabled it for lichess only and it cleared right up after a page reload.

Huh, just now I installed uBlock Origin and I see pieces, but no chess board... even CAPTCHAs don't have the board image.

EDIT: fixed by enabling large media elements on lichess.

I have no problem with uBlock Origin 1.14.4 and firefox 55.0.3 (64-bit).

Toadofsky: That's exact problem I had. Disabling it for lichess seemed to fix the problem. Yep, I re-enabled uBlock Origin and enabled Large Media Elements and that fixed the problem as well. Good find!!

fiveTimes: Interesting. I use Chrome w/ uBlock Origin. Must have been that Chrome was disabling the Large Media Elements by default and that interfered with displaying the chess board (large media, i guess)
