"let running the time out instead of..." warning - but idk why

Hi,

sometimes I get the "...let running the time out instead of resigning..." warning in a Blitz game, but its not clear to me why.

I was really thinking how to save the game and needed some time for that (it was not obvious to me in seconds, that its lost). So for the last move I took like < 20 s and accidently didn't move in time. But why do I get the warning?- It was not my intention!

Sometimes this message is annoying and false.
You are thinking , you lose control of the clock and time runs out. And suddenly they inform you that you did it on purpose and you may get banned!
There is something wrong here...

@FatesWarning -- What part of the Lichess warning informs you that "you did it on purpose"?

This is a travesty!. This policy of ban is really crazy. I got banned because I didnt make move for a minute.

I think that message is counterproductive. If it's adrressed to a true (grey) leaver, it should be posted to his personal message box. If it's intended for a supposed 'greenleaver' it might be annoying to a fair thinker. Maybe we could leave the greenleavers be, they are an insignificant minority.
