opens that play against d4

i would like to have some suggested opening to play against d4 i normally use the scandinavian defense against e4
The Slav will often result in similar structures to what you encounter in the Scandinavian and is a solid defense against d4.

At your current level, tactics training will likely be more beneficial than deep opening study. Most players will be out of book fairly quickly, so understanding the middle game plans and thematic tactics will offer greater returns than memorizing a myriad of theoretical lines.

Playing slower time control games will also give you more time to think and develop better habits around candidate move selection and calculation. Analyze each game to identify any egregious mistakes (both yours and your opponent's); this will help you identify common patterns you're missing that you can work on when training tactics.
Precisely. You can do the Healthy Mix theme to train a variety of tactical patterns, or you can hone in on a specific theme if it continues to show up in your post game analysis as an area of weakness.
Most solid answer will be the Nimzo-Indian but I never liked it much though I do play it.
I like the KID but I play classical lines not modern ones (that I genuinely think are actually worse).
Another forever defence is simply the QGD (or even accepted). You can't go wrong there.
If you're looking for something risky, play the Englund Gambit(1. d5 e4)

Look up some videos on how to play this dangerous gambit.
Considering your blitz rating is under 1000, you could just play the Dutch with f5 and Nf6 against d4? You can go for the same setup most games and it usually takes opponents at that level out of their theory
Check out the Benko gambit. Not so many take the time to play against it. Very solid at all levels.
I play the Englund Gambit, but prob. will have to find something new eventually. Considering your rating, I think you should try is out, @Blitz51.
There are many different openings you can play. For example, you can never go wrong with the QGD. I would also recommend the KID and Dutch as they are both more set-up based and therefore, no matter what you opponent plays, you can easily reach a position you are familiar with.
