why are you all here?

Hey,
silly and old question, but i wanted to know:

simple as it is, what are your reasons you all are here at lichess and not over at the big boy chess.com/?
my reasons are the layout and the puzzle categories.
im working a lot and the cost of chess.com wouldnt matter, but even the diamond membership isnt as good as the lichess overall package.
whats missing for me are the monthly bots and that you have events that you can follow and analyse like titled tuesday or candidates in the app itself.
I'm here to improve my game. It might take me years to do so, and, the way things are looking, I might not ever become good enough to teach others how to improve their games. I have a chess instructor, but I have neglected my studies and it has been months since I have received any lessons. I plan to buy a new computer. I will wait until afterward to resume my lessons. My laptop has been giving me some problems.
I like the layout also. The study sectio is very good. I don't know if Chess.com has something like it.
Chess.com doesn't allow you to do more than like 5 puzzles so I enjoy the freedom here. I do mainly play on chess.com for elo but it gets super laggy for some reason on my laptop.
I'm here because it's a human site. in both senses of the term: a site with a philosophy that advocates free learning and practice of chess.

And without this, I would never have progressed as much. Arena tournaments, unlimited tactics, forums and blogs...

and Lichess is a site on a human scale, and I do not exclude the possibility of meeting certain people, no matter if they are mods, developers or teammates. This will make my experience even more enriching to meet the benefactors who allowed me to progress in chess.

For everything, THX Lichess.
I'm here for playing games, sometimes puzzles, but on Chess.com I play puzzle battle mostly.

Also because lichess has Team Battles and Simultaneous exhibitions (AKA Simuls) I play on lichess more often.

Not to mention that lichess is free-to-play while Chess.com is not.
Basically free unlimited puzzles and analysis on Lichess.

Lichess is a non-profit organization.

I found videos on YouTube more useful than those on chess.com where you have to pay if one wants to study at a good pace.

I am finishing my games on chess.com and will only play here.
To find my friends and enemies. Those that will like my prose and others who do not want to be my brother.
