Is your fide rating 1800-2000?

I also think its harder to compare online to over the board, for me its 10 times easier calculating on a 2d board, but the atmosphere in a nice chess club is hard to beat.

I've got anxiety and shit like that so I rarely play rated games, but I don't agree with blanket statements like "2000 lichess.. 1500 over the board etc" there are too many factors that play in.

Things like playerpool and statistics on how many players are around each rating etc.
Like yes.. 1800 is easy if the playerpool at the lower end is small in for instance rapid, but I find it balances out at least at like 2200 ish, but that is just anecdotal of course.

ps. 2150-2200 fide depeding on whatever, but I've personally played 1800 lichess rated players over the board in real life that was close to or over 2000, and I've played 1800 lichess players that I felt like was 1300ish.

Just rabmbling, and probably off topic at that. too many factors, but the debate will of course never end even if empirical evidencec was presented in large large study. Just play and enjoy I guess?

I rectify myself :

liches 1800 = average 1500 elo fide
lichess 2000= average 1700 elo fide
