Game aborted when there is no internet (Blackout in Ukraine)

I was cut off from my game lichess.org/alOQNgbjtBuo due to the blackout and my wideband provider was down. When I entered the game from my Android app it was already ended 'because the black player left the game', but I've had enough time to win :((( Why do you abort the game in such circumstances?
cause technically it's not clear if you left intentionally or not, and if you're able to regain connection or not. There's only a limited cooldown to regain your connection. I hope a mod/dev (or anyone who knows better) can give a more detailed answer

the reason lichess does it
is so that your opponent does not need to wait the full time for you
this is to lessen the affect of rage quitting

the topic on how long that time should be has been discussed before
nothing came from it
