Connection Issues?

Recently I have begun to see the red "Reconnecting" symbol all the time. I'm pretty sure the problem is not me; is anyone else having this issue?

Does anyone have any quick fixes or advice?

I just lost an absolutely won game on time out (with 6 second increment) because for 30 seconds my screen showed that it was the opponents turn. ...'Reconnecting'...once refreshed, I had lost. http://en.lichess.org/aONRjpWW8Bxe

Many, many people have also commented on this problem... I have also noticed that there is now over 3000+ players online, almost constantly - so, can the lichess server handle this load?

And this is where the free model has its faults. A membership option would provide revenue for upgrades, but I like the free model, so perhaps a well orchestrated donation campaign. I would donate without hesitation.
