Oh, I see I grabbed the full page, so FF re-scaled second image a bit (you zoom in the first one and do not with the second on). Okay, here's visible space.

So the whole page is zoomed in or out here, not just the text.

Yeah, the content on the new page is a bit wider, but that was expected. It supposed to fit the screens better.

Firefox, by default, has two types of zoom modes:
1. whole page
2. text only
You probably, inadvertently, have "text only" zoom enabled. To change this, toggle the following option from the menu:
View > Zoom > Zoom Text Only
