Takeback etiquette?

For me takeback is a no go. Mouseslips are part of the game. If you want to take it back, just resign and start a new game.
How does the takeback feature work when it's your turn? I want to propose that my opponent takeback his move (he just made a pretty big blunder, it's early on in the game, so it seems like the sportman-like thing to do). But when I click the button to send a tackback request, does it come across to my opponent as if I'm requesting to take back MY move before his blunder? I sent him something in the chat, but no response yet.

My point is: is Tackback just for your own moves, or can it also be used to suggest to your opponent they take something back?

When it's your turn and your takeback request is answered, it takes back your opponents last move. So yes, u can suggest it to your opponent.
