Man I've been saying we need round robins for aaaages but no one listens.
I want to see some divisions of players with promotion and relegation between them. Initially split them by rating and let players in each league compete against eachother twice - once black and once white.
It'd really help improve people's games too.
Plus its only fair system for longer time controls. In arena with luck you can win 3 games while others will win only one, just because their oponents wanted to play for mate and took their time. Arena is focused on winning faster and chess isn't exactly the game, where you can control how fast you win. Without swiss there cant be any serious 15+min tournaments.
Swiss/dutch tournaments are classical and tested by time.

My club considers playing one of his traditionell tourneys - running for over 20 years - online for the first time due to decreasing number of participants. I WOULD like to play it on lichess, but it has to be a swiss round tournament. I don't want to choose chessbase, but..

Another 4 month later and still no swiss x rounds tourney at the best chess server around ?! Seems a lot of people are voting for that feature - are there any solid arguments against it ?
