People who continue to play after blundering a queen in the opening: WHY?

@ jimj12: Surprise! It looks like they really play chess Down Under. Ah, there is this Ayers Rook...
@jimj12 I play mostly bullet and hyperbullet so I have a setting: promote to queen automationally - always.

Also it is difficult to make premoves by knights cause it can't be as short as the queens' ones.
1) It depends on time controls, if it's a bullet game maybe don't resign, go for a flag win.

2) It depends on the players ratings. If I were down like a queen for a piece vs a really low rated player I may play on to try to win. I don't know if a GM would resign to me in such a positional blunder, some may play on if they got some form of compensation for the queen even from a worse position.

3) It's generally not seen at higher level play.

4) Not all queen blunders are totally blundering the house.

5) Some play to make a fortress, or in the hopes of a stalemate.
