Some cheating.

just play some chess and relax, buddy. Your last game was two weeks ago and it seems that all you do since then is hanging around trying to find cheaters and talking about it in the forums.

They are not worth it, you gotta enjoy your chess once in a while I'd say.
@nada:

from the Q&A part of this site:

"If, after viewing the game analysis, you still think your opponent has cheated, please submit a report against the user. You can report them by clicking their name and clicking the report button on their profile. Alternatively, you can use the report form: lichess.org/report?username= ... Please do NOT post about it in the forum; your post will be deleted.
"

the posting the game in forum part is what i see as an accusation and as i noticed others as well.

http://de.lichess.org/ZIkcLEXr/black is _one_ example of a game you posted where you suggested the move times indicate cheating. even _IF_ one of these players is a cheater - and none of them is marked as one - it is against the rules.

maybe what you feel as aggression by the others is just a mirror. u want respect? go with the rules and dont tell urself sweet little lies about cheaters keeping you below 2k glicko :)
@kjf,

this is not "one example" this is the only example because the other examples I gave are leading to already caught cheaters now and the one you found will probably also be detected soon.

You dont have to repeat yourself over and over again - I got it!

@nada: no, you didnt got it. no matter if they are cheaters or not you shall not post a link to it. still its accusation and if id care id probably find more examples. if u r picky about the wording of others u should expect the others to do the same.
It is an interesting misconception that cheating is somehow related to time controls. With longer time controls one has more time to consult an engine, so this supposedly increases the chance of cheating.

The truth is that cheating has nothing to do with this. Cheating occurs when you play someone without a record or someone of wildly different rating than your own. When you play a rated player with hundreds of games in several categories, with similar rating to yours, cheating is out of question. I do this, so I don't experience cheating.

Tournaments where you have to play players 500 points from your rating are INSANE. I finished playing in tournaments because of this. Of course a cheater enjoys tournaments, where you are FORCED to play anyone regardless of their record or rating.

I rather select my opponents.

What I want a site to do is help me in this. When I hover over a seek show this player's profile. Let me filter seeks by sophisticated criteria, like number of games played ( not only in the category of the seek, but overall ), number of categories in which the player is rated, date of registration, activity, how many times the player aborts games etc.

An experience and reputation system ( which works at many non chess sites and is proven ) is far better way of dealing with cheaters than 'hunting them down' one by one.

You could assign experience and reputation levels as chess pieces. A pawn is a novice in experience and not trusted in reputation. A king on the other hand is a very experienced player with lots of rated games in lots of categories, long membership, forum posts, etc. and in reputation one with many upvotes. You may specify in the seek that you want to play against at least rooks. I guarantee that you will experience no cheating. Experience and reputation are very valuable assets which take time and effort to build up and no one will risk those.

Cheaters when they are kicked, register an other account and start over again with low rating, even more harmful. If you start disabling IP adresses, you will ultimately ban legit users. If you want a hardware signature, you need a downloadable app. All these are artifical and ineffective methods.

An experience and reputation system is self governing, diffuse, flexible and at last but not least EFFECTIVE.
it wasnt meant to sound anti semitic but to exaggerate what happens when you brand ppl as something that isnt proven. once branded as "not yet marked cheater" a objective decision or normal behaviour towards the player in question is something hard to achieve. sry if my poor english skills made it sound strange
Just for general information:

All obvious examples of cheating I gave are officially affirmed in the meantime.

I also promise that I will not post any further examples in the public area to respect the rules and the feelings of other users.

Best wishes

@DaanNoordenbos:

Bullet is a nice variation of chess, a possibility to train your reaction and so on but the "real" chess is (at least for me) based on (deeper) thinking about your moves, developing ideas and trying to play a nice and harmonious game.

Sitting on a flying bullet is not exactly that what I am looking for... ;-)

By the way: Someone told me that even in bullet cheating is a problem from time to time.

Best wishes
