Some cheating.

** didn't mean to say "your initial post" I meant to say "the initial post" the the discussion around it was fine...basically until you showed up and started posting links to people's games you think are cheaters, and the main reason I'm bringing it up is because this is about the third or fourth time you've done this.
@Fenris1066:

I have not mentioned any names. Only two players I have given links to are not caught at this time. And I only did this to illustrate the practical problem of cheating because I have obviously triggered some angered reactions and think many people dont understand the issue.

So if they are confronted with reality thats maybe some kind of shock and will lead to aggressive reactions.

By the way: I am already in CIA. Feel free to visit the forum:

it is encouraged to report suspected cheaters but not to spam the forum with accusations. there are enough ppl feeling the need to judge without being entitled to. it also hinders a constructive dialog about the general topic when everyone who has the feeling that he has been cheated would post a link to every single game in question.
My apologies Nada, I didn't investigate the links, I simply saw numerous posts with links to games and questions about "don't you find this suspicious?" so I had no idea whether or not said players were already flagged. On the surface it appeared to the contrary.

However, I would caution you that the whole reason CIA came into existence was to stop this sort of behavior on the public forums to begin with. Prior to its creation, these sort of threads filled with cheat-shaming and suspicion were commonplace. I find it unnerving that they are coming back with a vengeance despite all the efforts that the lichess team has made to make this the least cheatable chess website on the planet. CIA is virtually a relic of the lichess past, and I am starting to think that has caused CIA members to start bringing their witch hunt into the public again out of feeling of irrelevance.
there is a saying along the lines of "if you see someone wanking you simply look somewhere else" ;)
@Fenris1066:

It seems to me that talking about cheating is not welcome. I will respect this (and will hole up into the CIA forum for the rest of my lichess life) but it gives cause for serious concern because not talking about a problem is usually not a good way to deal with it. Thats my little opinion.

@kif: irony is a hard task sometimes.

Hint: I just was instructed that talking about cheating is not welcome in public forum and not a problem at all and what happens? Thats the reason why I went for a spontaneous duck-swim... ;--)

And now let us stop talking about cheating. Maybe cheating is gonig to disappear by itself if we ignore it as good as we can.

There is no real cheating going on - think positive! (irony again)

...sorry it seems I posted this in the wrong thread. Maybe the ducks made me a bit too relaxed - sorry! *shame*
the problem is not talking about cheating but you accusing others in public to do so. get the argument right pls and try to turn off that passive aggressive thingy. in case u r just a troll, my congratulations.
@kif:

So just show me the players I accused of cheating. I gave some obvious examples with clear arguments to explain my point and help others to detect obvious cheating - thats it.

Its funny that you call me "aggressive" because I feel under pressure here and not respected in any way. People accuse me as a "stalker", a "troll", a person who is randomly accusing people for cheating or try to make himself more important and so on... isnt this aggressive as well?

A community should be able to talk about issues with bit more calmness and respect towards others.
